Consulting for the nonprofit community: technology, data, and geospatial
GreenSpace GIS is a consulting practice. I have over 25 years of experience supporting nonprofits, conservation organizations, and community organizations. I focus on advice and planning—how you organize your data, manage information systems, and use geospatial tools—and I can help with implementation as a project manager or by doing the work when it fits. My goal is to help you think it through and move forward so you can focus on your mission.
What I do
I help you think through strategy, identify gaps and opportunities, and plan for the future—and I can support implementation as a project manager, by helping you organize and work with developers, or by doing the work myself when it makes sense. My goal is to bring people and data together so communities and nonprofits can make better decisions about their future.

Information technology & consulting
I advise organizations on how they organize their data and run their information systems. That includes information systems strategy, cybersecurity, AI tool use, creating policies, identifying gaps or opportunities in existing systems, and planning for the future.
Data science & management
I help nonprofits think through data science and data management with a special eye to geospatial. I work with you on strategy for how to organize your data so it works well with your information systems and with geospatial tools—and so your whole data ecosystem works for you in every way that matters to nonprofits.
GIS & cartography
I help with specific projects: communicating your message or doing analysis with the data you have. That can mean publication-ready maps or implementing interactive geospatial tools for the web. I can help you envision what's possible and work with a developer, or I can implement it for you. I help you think through how to manage the work and move forward.
About GreenSpace GIS
GreenSpace GIS is my consulting practice. I help organizations of all sizes think through technology, data, and geospatial so they can be more effective. I focus on advice and planning first, with implementation when it fits—as a project manager, by helping you organize and work with others, or by doing the work from beginning to end. I build long-term relationships and put customer service first.
I'm Dorn Moore. I have over 25 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations on data, GIS, and communication. That grounding means I think through problems as they pertain to nonprofits—their constraints, priorities, and how technology and data can best support their mission.
